(Recorded in 2021) [ghostly wailing] oO0ooOooooahhh!!!!! Today we’re discussing the Christmas classic The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), starring Michael Caine and Kermit the Frog — yes, that flawless adaptation of Charles Dickens. 🎄
In this festive Christmas movie review podcast episode, we celebrate meaningful messages, emotional ghost visits, and the bold choice to have the story narrated by a blue furry Charles Dickens who hangs out with a rat. Jelly Bean, anyone? From Jim Henson magic to Muppet musical greatness, this Muppet Christmas Carol review covers why it remains one of the best holiday movies of all time.
So get into your comfiest dressing gown, put some coal on the fire, and start listening — it’s what Jim Henson would want.
Pro Tip: Best listened to with some Lipton tea (although, that’s none of our business)… ☕
