Summary
TNR Gold is experiencing significant interest from Altius Minerals, a Canadian royalty company, primarily due to its valuable assets, notably the Los Azules copper project. Kirill Klip, TNR Gold's chair, highlights that the Los Azules royalty is central to their portfolio, with a 0.4% net smelter return royalty. The project has evolved over two decades, and recent developments have positioned it closer to a final investment decision, which could unlock substantial value for TNR shareholders.
The company is also optimistic about its Mariana Lithium project, which is set to begin cash flow generation in 2025. TNR Gold's partnership with Ganfeng Lithium, a leading producer, is expected to enhance the project's potential. Klip emphasizes the importance of upcoming royalty payments and the possibility of expanding production, which could further solidify TNR's standing in the lithium market.
Additionally, TNR Gold is looking to advance its Shotgun gold asset in Alaska, which has significant exploration potential. Klip indicates that finding a strong partner for development will be crucial, especially as gold prices are anticipated to rise. Overall, TNR Gold's diversified portfolio in copper, lithium, and gold positions it well for future growth, with shareholders already seeing impressive returns.
