Show Notes

Feeling lost or overwhelmed as the new year approaches? Discover how choosing a "Word for the Year" can provide clarity, direction, and intention for your life. Friends, I’m back with our annual word for the year episode. My heart is to guide you through the process so that you can discover your own word, which I believe will benefit your personal and spiritual growth. The 5 Steps to discovering your word are:

Evaluate: Reflect on the past year, identify areas for growth, and cultivate gratitude.

Think: Connect with your feelings and emotions through meditation, prayer, or silence.

Create a List: Write down 10 words, images, or feelings that resonate with your vision for the year.

Refine: Highlight the words that stand out and evoke strong emotions.

Decide: Commit to your chosen word and use it as an anchor throughout the year.

I believe that if you invest time in this transformative exercise, your word will be a tool for setting intentions, finding direction, and aligning your life with your deepest values and aspirations. This is a personal journey. Take the time to reflect, feel, and choose a word that will empower and inspire you in the coming year. And don’t forget to share your word with me on social media by tagging me @biancajuarezofficial. I’m grateful for you and wish you a blessed new year! B

What do we do when life doesn’t go the way we wanted? The Church today needs tools for discipleship that go beyond a Sunday experience so that people can stay the course and live out the transformation that comes from staying with God… even when things don’t work out as planned. What does it mean for us to be present to His presence even when the outcomes are disappointing or heartbreaking?

How can we actually love like God calls us to love? The Church today is straining under the weight of division. Politics, theological disagreements, cultural differences, and deeply felt wounds are real threats and real damage is being done. What should happen when people who genuinely love Jesus and faithfully wrestle with Scripture arrive at different conclusions? In this conversation led by Dr. Anita Phillips, we get real about conviction, humility, and the work of remaining tender toward one another. This is an invitation to cultivate a love strong enough to stretch—reaching for each other rather than running as we trust God with it all.
