Show Notes
Every year, we step away from our normal routines as every Room of our House pauses its regular gatherings and meetings to embrace the rhythm of Sabbath. We realize the idea of not gathering from Sunday-Sunday is a little crazy on the surface, but we are guided by a deeper spiritual belief that God intended to weave Sabbath rest into the fabric of creation. We believe that as we cease from our efforts and celebrate again that God is the source of all we have and need, we will experience renewed strength and vision as a House. Louie Giglio walks through Ephesians 1:13–14 to show that in Christ we are sealed as God’s treasured possession: valued, prized, and secure. Rooted in the truth that we belong to God, he calls us to a life of devotion and assurance, inviting us to go all in as a people ready to do God's will.
Louie Giglio reminds us that being forgiven is just the start of what God has done for us, and invites us to let the joy of our new identity in Christ become the conviction of our new life in Him.
Louie Giglio opens Ephesians 1:7-8 to show that in Christ you are already forgiven and "free to go," and that receiving that grace is what frees you to extend it to others.
You aren't forgotten, mistaken, or a pauper in God's story. You are chosen. This week, Louie Giglio reminds us that God chose us before the creation of the world to bear much fruit and carry His name.
