Show Notes
This week on Tea and Soju, we’re settling in for a chat about the Chinese drama The Story of Pearl Girl, starring Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning — and our lovely guest Jess is joining us for the ride. While this drama might not be a favorite for us (and honestly, it might not work for everyone), we break down exactly why in the episode, from the story choices to the character moments that had us conflicted.
Expect cozy vibes, honest thoughts, and plenty of laughs as we unpack what Pearl Girl got right, what missed the mark, and whether it might still be the drama for you. Grab your drink of the day and settle in for a warm, candid review with Jess.
