A warning from Hebrews 2:1–4: “How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?”In this audio article, we consider the danger of spiritual neglect, the call to pay much closer attention to the gospel, and the greatness of the salvation we have in Christ. Like a neglected boat drifting from shore, our souls can slowly drift when we neglect God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and obedience.May this message stir you to wake up from spiritual complacency, cling to Christ, and walk faithfully in the power of the Spirit.About the author:Pastor Murungi Igweta was born in Miathene, Meru County in Kenya. The Lord opened his heart to see the gravity and depravity of his sins, and to flee to Christ and, by faith, receive God’s rich saving grace in the year 2001. The call to the ministry came almost immediately, with a strong desire to reach the least reached communities with the gospel. In 2003, he married Charity and over the years the Lord has blessed them with three children.
