Ep 9 Ramadan series: Salah is more than just a routine ft. Aysha

With Love, Iman.

Show Notes

Salah isn’t just about going through the motions—it’s a daily check-in, a reset, and a way to stay grounded. "The first deed for which a person will be called to account on the Day of Judgment will be his Salah. If it is found to be sound, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser." (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 413, Sahih according to Al-Albani)

This Hadith highlights the importance of Salah as the foundation of our deeds and a key to success in the Hereafter. It reminds us to prioritize and perfect our prayers.

This episode is not about guilt or fixing everything at once. It’s about understanding what’s happening in your heart, and realising that drifting doesn’t mean you’ve left. It often just means you’ve gotten lost. And getting lost is not the same as leaving🤍

After Ramadan ends, the real question begins: what will we carry forward? Allah reminds us in the Qur'an, “And worship your Lord until there comes to you certainty (death)” (15:99), showing that our عبادات are not limited to a single month, but are meant to continue throughout our lives.
