The Nielson Show

Show Notes

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.

It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.

Mike Garafolo was the final insider we have on today's show. He stopped by for a quick recap on NFL Week 4 and a preview on all the big games in NFL Week 5. He also touched on some of the biggest storylines heading into this weekend as well.

It's Friday, which means it's the fan favourite Sobeys & Safeway Liquor Beer of The Week! This weeks beer of the week was provided by Kelsey Bill from Troubled Monk! She joined the fellas virtually to showcase this weeks beer of the week. You can purchase an 8-pack for $20.99, saving $7.00 when you buy a pack.

We finished the show like we always do with The Wrap from William Huff.

Jamie McLennan kicked off today's guest lineup, jumping straight into a breakdown of last night's thrilling overtime win and what makes this Oilers squad so fun to watch right now. The conversation quickly shifted to the crease, with Noodles evaluating Devon Levi—what sets him apart from previous Edmonton netminders of the McDavid era, and whether it's fair to label him the goalie of the future. The guys also looked down the ice at Minnesota's Jesper Wallstedt, discussing his potential to evolve into one of the league's elite goaltenders. To wrap things up, Noodles previewed tonight's marquee matchup in Ottawa as Brady Tkachuk makes his first emotional return to the nation's capital since being traded.
