Show Notes
Nothing like a good Aussie drama to set cat amongst the Bingeboxers.
Rebecca Gibney reprises her role as Jane Halifax FP in a continuation of the nostalgic series that helped Nine through the late 90's(!) and pops back up again 20 years later. Winner or sinner: we'll be the judge of that.
Join Jo, Dan, Brooky, and Molk as we give you some great tips, hints on shows to watch and those to give a wide berth to as we land squarely in the TV Bingebox!
In this episode we cover off:
•HALIFAX: RETRIBUTION (Nine) is our #GroupBinge for the week, still starring Rebecca Gibney;
•It's Brooky's turn for a #Rewind and who'd have thought it would turn out to be 24 (9NOW)?! SO GREAT!; and
•Our Clap or Slap shows (ones we've been loving and others we've had the misfortune to watch) include: Gogglebox Australia (Lifestyle/10), Hard Quiz (ABC), The Salisbury Poisonings (SBS), Love Fraud (Stan), The Block (9), I Am A Killer: Released (Netflix), Luther (Amazon Prime / Stan / SBS OnDemand), Intelligence (ABC Comedy), Difficult People (SBS VICELAND), Lovecraft Country (FOX SHOWCASE), Power of Greyskull (Netflix), What We Do In The Shadows S02 (FOX SHOWCASE), The Block (Nine), The Boys S02 (Amazon Prime Video), Cobra Kai (Netflix), Vera (ABC), Australia Remastered (ABC), Babylon Berlin (Netflix), La Belle Époque (theatrical/Amazon Prime ), Spiderman 2 (Disney+), Ghost (Stan), Succession S2 (Binge), I Am Woman (Stan).

More from TV Blackbox/TV Bingebox
It indeed was a really big show - an immersive experience instead of buttoned-down sitdown presentation. Nine came out all guns blazing (just don't talk about radio or Karl Stefanovic) and made sure we knew they at least think they are "still the one".
It's a little bit late and we've all got stuff going on, but here's the highlights of BINGE's 2027 announcements and Molk's impression of them and the evening KAYO/Foxtel Upfront event. There's literally a couple of surprises and the rest you could guess yourself or the team at TV BLACKBOX have already published the announcements. Just go and watch HIGH COUNTRY season two. It's awesome.
In the first of the 2027 Upfront season podcast Molk casts his eye across the content schedule being offered, the quantity and volume (or lack thereof) of new programs coming, and the event itself.
With the 2026 Logies run and won, Steve Molk chats with Mark Humphries on their impressions about the event, the Top 70 Australian shows (as voted by the Australian public), Robert Irwin's tilt at hosting, the Hall of Fame inductees, and Sam Pang winning the Gold Logie. Always great to chat with Mark - hear him on ABC Sydney, or grab a ticket to Mark's Broadway Supper Club events! https://broadwaysupperclub.com.au/
Goodness gracious - two podcasts in two weeks? This is almost makes it a regular thing again. The problem is SO MUCH happened since the last ep that Molk had swimming around in his brain he just needed a chat with you, his fellow TV fanatics.
