Show Notes
Omid Djalili welcomes you to Please Tell Me A Story, the show where six funny people tell each other the same story over and over again, with hilarious consequences along the way. Our comedians must pass the original tale down the line from memory, resulting in many stumbles, fumbles, and laughs.
Abi Clarke is in the story-telling hotseat this week. She spins a compelling yet baffling yarn of (slightly untimely) festive cheer through the lens of a Florida Man. Think Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ mixed with the ridiculous antics of men from the US’s Sunshine State, complete with helium balloons, an underwater world, and an emotional support python.
It’s an age-old story with a surprisingly modern resonance, which led Kai Samra to declare he was ‘having a breakdown’ trying to remember it. So how many of the details will go walkies as we pass it down the line…?
