Jones and Keefe roll into today's show with their reactions to A.J. Brown being listed with an injury. Is this going to be an ongoing problem with him? Do you think the Patriots overpaid for A.J. Brown or do you still have faith in him? The guys then react to what Jaylen Brown said in response to Brian Scalabrine. The two then question how they will judge Jayson Tatum this year, will it be from his own success or the team success?
Jones and Keefe continue the show with the Tale of the Tape where they break down every position between the Patriots and the Dolphins and debate which team is better at every position. The guys then react to the Milwaukee Brewers ending the MLB season and winning their first World Series championship. They then hear the news that Ernie Johnson will be stepping down after this season from Inside The NBA. What does this mean for the rest of the show going forward?
Jones and Keefe hit high noon and immediately jump into On The Clock where they give each other sixty seconds to preview the Patriots and the Dolphins game. Keefe is not letting go of his faith in A.J. Brown while Jones has set a clear bar for Drake Maye. The guys then revisit A.J. Brown dealing with an injury, and they wonder if the Patriots need to trade for another wide receiver. They then ask each other if they regret the A.J. Brown trade. Today's edition of Keefer Madness involves a house with four spider monkeys in it.
Jones and Keefe enter the final hour with the performance Jaylen Brown has had with the 76ers. Can Paul George fill the role that Jaylen Brown left behind, and did you even believe for a second what Brian Scalabrine said about Jaylen Brown requesting a trade? Grab Bag includes a fashion police segment with some hockey jerseys, the latest on the WNBA finals, and a difficult random baseball player of the day.
