Katee Catches Up With Her TV Husband Michael Trucco
Battlestar React-ica: Katee Sackhoff's First Watch of BSGShow Notes
Hi everyone, happy Tuesday! You didn't think I could keep Michael Trucco away for long, did you? The last time I had Michael on the show, it was audio-only, so if you've been dying to see his beautiful face, today's your lucky day! I first met Michael on Battlestar where he played Samuel T. Anders, but we have stayed close over the years. As an actor, he has been on a role recently— you may have seen him as Sean Del Monte in The Rookie, Luke Leone on Fire Country, or in one of Mike Flanagan's recent projects, from Life of Chuck, to Fall of the House of Usher, to Midnight Mass. Why is Michael Trucco in all of these amazing projects, and many many more? Because he's the BEST and literally everyone wants to work with him! We have so much fun catching up in this episode. We swap Battlestar stories, we talk about how he stays positive through the ups and downs of a long career, and we even get into some questions from you, the audience. If you want more Trucco, check out the Hindsight over on Patreon! It's a Ronald D. Moore double header! But this week we get the added bonus of having Terry Dresbach on the mic. She is a costume designer and also happens to be Ron's wife so we get a whole different perspective on the show. "Precipice" literally takes us to the edge of our seats with an even darker descent into the New Caprica story. Leoben and Kara? Yuck....but also, Yum? Come along for a mini ride through the backstory of a few key characters that don't get enough regular screen time. Between S2 and S3, Jammer and Duck get some flushed out story while we also still get some great Chief and Tigh moments as well. Donations to Pediatric Cancer Research 👉 https://givebutter.com/therealbattle Katee Sackhoff and Robin Gadsby hosted a live event with special guest Ronald D. Moore, the man who reimagined Battlestar Galactica. We watched select clips from across Season 2, reacted in real time, and then got to ask Ron the questions we’ve been dying to get answers to. Behind-the-scenes details, never-before-told stories, and plenty of moments that had the whole room cracking up. THE CAUSE All proceeds from the event went to the Sam Day Foundation and we were able to raise $33,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research. Now the event may be over, but the giving doesn’t have to be. This may be the best Season Finale in TV history! There, we said it! Robin gets BSG stress chest and Katee forgets how much she and Michael Trucco make-out in this episode 😂 *Spoiler* it's A LOT. The political drama is intense as well, with the election between Roslin and Baltar hitting a climax that had us both stressed out. And the time jump? Wow...this season has been a wild ride, and they capped it off with a bang 🤯 I have never watched my performance in Battlestar Galactica.. until now.
