More from Prank Of The Year
In this interview episode we speak to Sarah Hillary, a Fine Arts Conservator at the Conservation Research Centre at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. We approached Sarah during our investigation to discuss what a forensic examination of an artwork might involve, and gained a fascinating outlook into her team's process and specialist skill-set (as well as some incredible stories about high-profile restorations).
In this interview episode we speak to two former journalists behind two newspaper articles from December 1993 that proved pivotal to our investigation. We hear from former NZ Herald writer Rochelle Lockley about her time at Aotearoa's biggest paper (and how she went on to work for Telecom's biggest rival), as well as Dunedin-based Lee Harris, a former Arts Editor for the Otago Daily Times.
In the first of our Bonus Interview series, we korero with Rata - an expert in Ephemera, who we heard from in Episode Three, Front Page News. During our conversation Rata talks us through what ephemera is, the role that it plays in learning about our social and cultural past, and why it is important to preserve it.
Craig and Luke sit down to read and respond to listener correspondence - as well as announce plans for future content.
As we tiptoe towards our conclusion, lets take a detour down some investigative side-streets
