PBC Podcast

Show Notes

Ruaille buaille is the perfect description for this episode as we've got craic, ceol, some poetry and what's a PBC podcast without the surreal radio drama from the Tadhg and the two nutters who take us to the depths of a dramatic other world. Some PBC teachers grace us with some music and poetry to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge and we showcase creative works from students as part of art week. Lastly our special guest shares stories from around the world. All that and more! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We welcome back three familiar faces from the Class of 1992 — musicians Pat Kiernan, Richard Kehoe, and Keelan Cuniffe — they return to the studio slightly greyer, possibly wiser, and definitely still capable of musical mischief. The episode dives into long-lost lunchtime echoes from the Dan Donovan Theatre, where vintage footage resurfaces of the lads performing as their gloriously overconfident school band, The Buzzin Half Dozen. Expect squeaky chairs, heroic adolescent ambition, and the unmistakable sound of teenagers convinced they’ve already made it.
