Show Notes
On this episode of the Acid For Squares podcast, hosts Cody Blue and Tanya Dahl sit down with Travis Holp, author, spiritual teacher, and world-renowned psychic medium whose abilities have been verified by the prestigious Forever Family Foundation, with additional validation from Dr. Jeff Tarrant, the neuroscientist featured on The Telepathy Tapes. Travis’s work has also been featured in People, Entertainment Tonight, and Cosmopolitan.
Having come out of the closet twice, first as a gay man and later as a medium, Travis shares the unlikely and hilarious story of how his path into mediumship began almost accidentally while drinking with friends. That experience stayed with him, but it was during the pandemic, while giving tarot readings on TikTok, that his abilities began to fully reveal themselves. In the middle of readings, he unexpectedly started hearing from the deceased loved ones of the people he was reading for. What began as a simple online offering quickly became something far more mysterious, profound, and life-changing, setting him on a path he never could have anticipated.
Travis opens up about how spirit communication comes through and even teaches several techniques people can use to begin developing their own intuitive and mediumistic abilities. He also shares some of the more far-out encounters he’s had with beings and entities that have appeared to him while in a mediumistic state. The episode culminates in an emotional and powerful reading for Cody and Tanya that leaves both hosts in tears, with a special message from Tanya’s grandma, for an episode that happens to be airing on her birthday.
This is a deeply moving, mind-expanding conversation about intuition, grief, spirit communication, and the mysteries that live just beyond the veil.
