Welcome to Episode 85 of our Mediumship Podcast! In this episode, Tabs explores one of the most common questions people have after losing someone: how long does it take for our loved ones to visit us after they pass? She shares her perspective from mediumship and personal experience, explaining why there is no set timeline for when Spirit makes contact. Some loved ones come through quickly, while others may take more time—and there are many reasons for that, including the soul’s transition, healing, and the readiness of both sides. Tabs also talks about the different ways loved ones may visit—through dreams, signs, subtle feelings, or moments of deep knowing—and how grief can sometimes make it harder to recognize these connections. With a grounded and compassionate approach, she helps you understand what may be happening behind the scenes and how to stay open without forcing the experience. If you’ve been wondering when or how your loved one might reach out, this episode offers reassurance, clarity, and a reminder that connection doesn’t end—it simply changes form. Tune in for insight, comfort, and a deeper understanding of how Spirit reconnects after passing.

What happens when you combine 21 years of working in healthcare with energy, intention, and visualization? In this first episode of my Peru series, I'm sharing a new approach to energy healing that I began exploring with Jeff before our trip. From working with his chronic back pain to experimenting with energy during our flights, receiving an unexpected hand gesture, and watching how Jeff felt after more than 120 kilometres of hiking and walking through Peru, this experience has left me with plenty of questions. I'm sharing what I tried, what we noticed, and why I'm curious to keep exploring, without claiming to have all the answers. Sometimes the most interesting part of a spiritual journey is discovering something you never expected to explore.
Did you have experiences as a child that you couldn't quite explain? Maybe you saw or sensed things other people didn't, had incredibly vivid dreams, knew things before they happened, or were told you were simply “too sensitive” or had an overactive imagination. In this episode, we're exploring 7 childhood experiences that can make a lot more sense when you look at them through the lens of psychic and intuitive abilities. We’ll talk about childhood sensitivity, seeing or sensing spirit, intuitive knowing, dreams, fear of the dark, imaginary friends, and why some people eventually learn to shut these experiences down. Sometimes the things you thought were completely normal as a child look very different when you revisit them as an adult. How many of these did you experience?
What does it really mean to surrender on your spiritual journey? In this episode, I’m exploring a lesson that has been coming up again and again in my sessions: letting go of the need to control how everything unfolds. We’ll talk about the difference between surrender and simply giving up, my beliefs around future timelines and divine paths, following intuitive nudges without needing to know where they’ll lead, and why surrender can completely change your mediumship development. I’ll also share what surrender has looked like in my own life through grief, change, uncertainty, and learning to hold space for both the light and the dark. Because surrender doesn’t mean you stop making choices. It means you make the choice, take the next step, and loosen your grip on what has to happen next.
It’s officially been three years since I stepped into this work as a psychic medium, and life looks very different than it did when I started. In this episode, I’m sitting down for a bit of a life update and reflecting on what these last three years have actually looked like. The growth, the changes, the things I’ve learned about mediumship, and some of the things happening in my life right now. When I first started developing my mediumship, I had no idea where it would take me. I couldn’t have predicted the readings, the podcast, the people I would meet, the experiences I would have, or how much I would change personally along the way. And like any spiritual journey, it hasn’t been a straight line. I’m sharing where I’m at now, what’s been shifting behind the scenes, what mediumship looks like for me three years later, and some of the things I’m looking forward to as I move into this next chapter. This one is a little more personal. No list of signs. No rabbit hole to solve. Just a conversation about life, mediumship, growth, change, and what happens when you look back and realize just how much can happen in three years. Whether you’re developing your own psychic or mediumship abilities, going through a spiritual awakening, or simply navigating a season where life seems to be changing quickly, I hope something in this conversation resonates with you. Finding Spirit with Tabs is a podcast about mediumship, intuition, spiritual awakening, the unexplained, and all the weird and wonderful things we experience along the way. 💚
Why are so many intuitive people afraid of the dark? In this episode, I’m exploring why fear of the dark can sometimes show up alongside strong intuition, sensitivity, and psychic awareness. We’ll talk about what you may have experienced as a child, why nighttime can make intuitive experiences feel louder, and how fear can develop when you’re sensing things you don’t yet understand. If you’ve always been uncomfortable in the dark, felt like you weren’t alone, noticed shadows or movement, or simply felt more aware at night, this episode might help you connect a few dots. Maybe you weren’t just afraid of the dark. Maybe you were noticing more than you realized. 👀✨
