Show Notes
This week for out Summer on the Mount series, we had guest Pastor Gray Gardner of the future Hill City Church in Rock Hill, SC speak on how we need to be not just Christians but disciples of Christ. Disciples are meant to be distinct and visible, and we need to be the salt and flavor in people's spiritual lives. In order to live like Jesus you need to recognize that you're not the main character of your story (He is), you're a missionary for spreading His Gospel, and you have to BE with Him in order to BECOME like Him.
Pray over Gray and Hill City Church as they plan on opening in the fall this year in Rock Hill, SC!

Heaven's a hard place to describe because none of us have ever been there. There's a lot of misconception that it'll be a magical place above in the clouds, but what does the Bible actually say about Heaven? Turns out, it'll be a lot more similar to Earth than you realize. It'll be the restoring of Earth back to it's original form that God intended and He will dwell with his people. Heaven promises reunion, to be rid of pain, and rewards. But in order to receive these rewards, you have to ask yourself this question while still here on Earth: What did you do with what God gave you?
What does the book of Revelation say about Heaven & Hell? In this podcast episode, Pastor Nate goes beyond the sermon to break down different views of Heaven & Hell, to help us better grasp what both of these eternal destinations are vs. are not.
Here's our latest sermon on Revelation!

One of the most hotly debated topics of Revelation is whether or not Christians will experience tribulation here on earth before Christ's return. The quick answer: YES! Every day is a battle of tribulation against the dragon of this world (Satan), the beast that we mistakenly trust (government), and the harlot that is ever tempting (culture). Luckily, God gave us a savior from these evil foes in Jesus Christ and you can break the strongholds of sin in your life if you rebuke them in Jesus name and cast them out with prayer.
