Pawleys Island Community Church in Georgetown County, South Carolina is facing a $25 million lawsuit and criminal charges after parents discovered a registered sex offender had been volunteering on campus—including at the church's affiliated Christian school—for years.

In this episode, I break down: — How congregants first learned that Warren Perry, convicted in 2023 of sexual exploitation of a minor, had been given access to children

— The explosive, tearful congregational meeting where members confronted Senior Pastor Don Williams

— The resignations of Pastor Don Williams, his wife Ginny Williams, school director Nikki Howard, and several elders

— The details of the $25 million lawsuit filed by a John and Jane Doe on behalf of their children

— A troubling history of a similar allegation against the church from nearly 20 years ago

🚨 BREAKING — At a July 20th, 2026 press conference, Georgetown County Sheriff Carter Weaver revealed investigators concluded that Don Williams, Ginny Williams, Niki Howard, and Warren Perry all colluded to knowingly and willfully place children in harm's way. Criminal charges have now been filed against all four:

Donald James Williams — Obstruction of Justice, Unlawful Neglect/Endangerment of a Child, Criminal Conspiracy

Jenny Lee Williams — Criminal Conspiracy, Obstruction of Justice

Jennifer Nicole Howard — Obstruction of Justice, Criminal Conspiracy, Unlawful Neglect/Endangerment of a Child

Warren Spencer Perry — Obstruction of Justice, Criminal Conspiracy

Sheriff Weaver also played taped audio of Williams being interviewed about Perry's supervision violations, and released photos allegedly showing Perry in close proximity to children on campus—directly contradicting the church's public claims.
