In December 2020, Marla and her husband Sam felt what they believed was a clear spiritual impression—they were meant to have another child. What followed seemed divinely guided… until everything suddenly began to fall apart.
Early in her pregnancy, Marla began experiencing dangerous complications, including severe bleeding and placental abruption. Doctors gave her a grim prognosis and warned that she would lose the baby. At multiple points, it seemed like the outcome was already decided.
But then something strange began to happen.
Despite the medical warnings, the pregnancy didn’t unfold the way anyone expected. Scans showed conflicting results. Symptoms came and went without explanation. And at times, even the doctors seemed confused about what they were seeing.
