Deep Dive - Ask MC: Where are the November 1 targets going to sign? (29/10/26)

Harry Grant is at the center of discussions regarding his future with the Melbourne Storm, as the club has reportedly offered him a three-year contract worth around $1.2 million. Grant, along with teammates Cameron Munster and Jerome Hughes, has shown loyalty to the Storm under coach Craig Bellamy, who is expected to step down after next season. The decision on Bellamy's successor could significantly influence whether these players choose to remain with the club.

The Titans are also in the mix for Grant's services, although their recent re-signing of Zane Harrison raises questions about their salary cap management. Harrison's contract negotiations have sparked debate, with some suggesting he may not be worth the rumored $900,000. Meanwhile, the Storm are keen to retain Stefano Utoikamanu, who may face a family-related decision about relocating to Sydney, potentially to join the Roosters.

In other player news, Matt Burton is allowed to negotiate with other clubs, with the Bulldogs viewing him as a center rather than a five-eighth, which complicates his future. Cody Walker has signed a one-year deal with South Sydney, while other players like Matt Dufty and Adam Elliott remain without contracts for the upcoming season. The Rabbitohs are also managing their salary cap carefully as they prepare for future signings, including high-profile players like Luttrell Mitchell and Jack Whiten.
