Show Notes
Welcome back to Decomposed Radio! Show number 054 showcases 18 year old Sheffield based DJ, and very talented producer "Porter Brook" also known as Peter Murch. He'll be joining myself and Decomposed Radio favourite "C.B.R." on the lineup of up and coming Leeds techno night "The Motif" taking place at Eiger Studios on the 26th of October. Influenced heavily by artists such as Brian Eno, LTJ Bukem and Underground Resistance, Porter Brook's musical style is a blend of ambient, techno, breakbeat and UK hardcore and his mix for the show includes a selection of original unreleased tracks, alongside selected existing cuts. For more about Porter Brook's music, including his new release "Andorra" which is a sublime slice of emotive ambient techno, head over to his Soundcloud and Bandcamp pages, and hopefully catch up with some of you at Eiger Studios on the 26th of october in Leeds where he'll be playing a unique live set........

You're back in the zone with Decomposed Radio!
Welcome back to Decomposed Radio! For Show 096 We're rewinding back to December last year and revisiting the amazing "Works Party." This was it's 18th year and despite a brief interruption from something called "Covid" I'm happy and proud to say it's back up to full strength. Complete with underground afterparty, a phase 3, and maybe even a phase 4 if you know where to look! If you know you know and all that .... Featuring on today's episode is long time friend of the show and Decomposed OG "DJ Galup" also know as Sam Whittaker. We're very lucky to have captured his phenomenal set from the afterparty at Plot 22, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Sam's ability to create a specific vibe thats tailor made for the time and space never fails to impress me, and is always one of the highlights of the weekend! I could rant on for hours, but let's face it we're all in this for the music, so lock in and turn it up for Decomposed Radio 096, with DJ Galup recorded live at Plot 22, Sheffield. It's not going off .... It's gone off ....
