This was followed by equally rapid deglaciation, or disappearance of the ice and correspondingly rapid rise in sea levels, sometimes to many feet higher than the present day. One study from 1977 used 8 cores extracted from the ocean bottom to examine changes in ancient ocean life to correlate temperature changes in the North Atlantic. Only a year before this study was published a report was published that was based on a collection and analysis of radiocarbon dates around the shores of James Bay and the Hudson Strait in the region of Hudson Bay, which was the geographic center of the great Laurentide Ice Sheet during the last glaciation. What this study revealed was that the deglaciation of the Hudson Bay region was extremely fast, even catastrophic. Scientists continue to try and unravel the accumulating evidence for this inexplicably fast change in global climate. Join us for this edition of Squaring the Circle as we probe the mysteries surrounding the most recent of these extreme upheavals, the Younger Dryas climate catastrophe. Randall provides new, compelling evidence showing the extreme environmental instability that occurred as the last Ice Age concluded. He shows clear evidence on how radiocarbon dating combined with dendrochronology reveals that a major shift in the Earth's climate did occur within mere decades rather than over thousands of years. In this new episode, Randall continues his investigation to thoroughly and clearly demonstrate how this catastrophic event was, not only a localized occurrence, but quite possibly a global phenomenon as well.
It is Randall's contention that humanity faces two existential threats: man-made geopolitical conflict and natural cosmic catastrophes. He suggests that the global arms race is a manufactured distraction that prevents nations from addressing the genuine danger of repetitive Earth-cosmos interactions. In this compelling episode of Squaring The Circle, Randall advocates for a profound shift in consciousness to move past modern political rivalries and instead foster international cooperation.
In this episode of Squaring the Circle Randall addresses a critical turning point for humanity where society must choose between enlightenment and extinction. Drawing on biblical wisdom, Randall argues that ignorance of truth and moral living serves as the primary catalyst for societal downfall. He emphasizes that modern civilization is currently disregarding urgent cosmic warnings and symbolic omens that signal our collective future. By failing to acknowledge these signs, we, humanity, risk a path toward inevitable ruin rather than achieving greatness. Consequently, this episode aims to interpret these celestial messages to help listeners regain essential knowledge and profound insight. This intellectual exploration seeks to provide the necessary tools for navigating toward a prosperous and wise future.
