Race & Kink w/Luna Matatas - Ep 186

The kink community has a reputation for being accepting & inclusive. When it comes to race, however, we have some work to do. Recent research published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found at BDSM events people of color were 16x more likely to feel discriminated against & 17x more likely to feel fetishized than their white counterparts. On ep 186 of American Sex podcast, Luna Matatas discusses insight she's gleaned from the monthly Race & Kink discussion series she co-hosts with Marla Renee Stewart. What actionable steps can allies and accomplices take to tackle these issues head-on? How can we truly make our communities & events welcoming beyond saying "all are welcome"? What are we doing right? How are we missing the mark?
