It's Already Started... Robertson & Senesi IN, Next Season & World Cup 2026 An Echo of Glory LIVE!
An Echo of GloryShow Notes
The Echo AGM's done and dusted (this evening!) so now we go live. Join The gang from around 9:30 (ish) for a proper catch up on everything Spurs as the summer gets going. The rebuild has already started. Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi are both through the door on frees, De Zerbi clearly isn't hanging about, and there's more to come before the window shuts. We'll get into what it all means for next season, where we still need bodies, and whether this is finally the summer Spurs get their business right. Then there's the World Cup. It kicks off this week out in the States, Canada and Mexico, and we've got Lucas Bergvall flying the flag for Sweden at his first major tournament. We'll be keeping an eye on the Spurs lads scattered across the squads and chatting through what to watch for. And because it wouldn't be a proper night without it, we're opening the phone lines. The panel dissect the Coventry equaliser — Kinsky should save it, the whole defence stopped playing — then assess
Jake R, Jake S and Gary are back for a post match reaction show after Spurs finally got off the mark in the league. Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Coventry City to North London on Monday in pursuit of a first Premier League win this season, and collected a 3-1 victory over their newly-promoted visitors. James Maddison gave Spurs their first lead of the season with a brilliant first time finish from the edge of the box. Against his old club too, which made it even sweeter for him. The win moves Spurs out of the bottom three after James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Ben Davies scored against Frank Lampard's Cov.
What a game that was. We are back this morning to pick through the bones of a proper rollercoaster at Old Trafford. Tottenham Hotspur were the dominant side for 60 minutes, but Bryan Mbeumo turned it all upside and put Manchester United ahead, only for Dominic Solanke to equalise in stoppage time, following Rodrigo Bentancur's red card.
We're back for a live discussion show on Monday 5 October at 10am UK time.
Man City have been found guilty of the vast majority of the 115 Premier League charges. The Athletic reports 114 of 115 upheld. Mauricio Pochettino says fans "lived through a period of deception." So where does that leave Tottenham?
