Revelation and Inspiration — Introduction

The Bible study guide for the fourth quarter of 2026 focuses on "The Gift of Prophecy," specifically examining the theme of revelation and inspiration. The discussion emphasizes how messages delivered to individuals, such as the apostle John during his exile on Patmos, continue to resonate with people worldwide today. The lesson encourages participants to reflect on how God communicates through chosen messengers and the transformative power of these messages in their lives.

A poignant story is shared about Albin Mochnik, a young Slovenian who faced despair in 1906 but found hope through the kindness of Adventist families in Germany. His journey from contemplating suicide to becoming a pioneer of the Adventist faith in the former Yugoslavia illustrates the profound impact of compassion and faith. Mochnik's dedication to spreading the gospel, despite numerous challenges, highlights the enduring influence of prophetic messages and the importance of supporting those in need.

The session concludes with a prayer, urging participants to remain attentive to God's messages and to share hope with others, reinforcing the theme of community and encouragement within the faith.
