Summary
Seamus Power secures a significant boost in his golf career following a runner-up finish at the Bermuda Championship, despite narrowly losing in a playoff. This performance earns him over $600,000 and crucial ranking points, propelling him from outside the top 100 to 68th place on the PGA Tour. Power's achievement is particularly noteworthy as it grants him a full playing card for the 2027 season, a vital turnaround after struggling with a conditional card last year.
Meanwhile, Galway's Liam Nolan is poised to secure a full card on the DP World Tour as he competes in the grand final of the Hotel Planner Tour in Mallorca. Currently ranked 10th in the standings, Nolan needs to finish in the top 25 among 45 players to ensure his upgrade. His recent performances, including a win in Abu Dhabi, position him as a promising talent in Irish golf, potentially following in the footsteps of established stars like Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry.
