In today’s episode we have a heart to heart conversation about the feelings that come with being a child of immigrant parents, in particular: feeling unseen by our immigrant parents. I share with you an important question to ask yourself that can help you gain clarity, and a few friendly reminders that can help you through these moments of uncertainty. To all my First-Gens, children of immigrants, I see you. I am here for you and I am rooting for you 🫶🏽🤍

I dive into the barriers of hyper-independence as an eldest daughter of immigrant parents and how it may influence our resistance to resting and slowing down. Recuerda, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first 🫶🏽
