Show Notes
From Keith Bakers QRZ page During the last week of December 2017 and continuing on into the months of January and February 2018, I'll again be operating "vacation style" from a rental QTH on Fripp Island (Beaufort County, EM-92, IOTA NA-110) South Carolina. Fripp Island is one of the many South Carolina "Sea Islands" very near the world-famous resort of Hilton Head. For HF, I'll be using a Kenwood TS-2000, Heathkit SB-200 Amplifier and a Drake MN-2000 antenna tuner for SSB and CW operation. Antennas include an 80-10 Meter G5RV and a smaller 40-10 Meter G5RV "Jr.", both set up as "Inverted Vs". For the satellites, I'll be using a Yaesu FT-847 in its "satellite mode" along with a hand-held "Arrow" VHF/UHF antenna system (available from AMSAT) .
