What would change if you walked into school already secure in how deeply you are loved? Friend, you know Jesus loves you. But what happens to that truth when a lesson falls flat, you receive difficult feedback, or you go home replaying a moment you wish you had handled differently? In this episode of The Connected Educator: Abiding in Jesus, Teaching from His Victory, we slow down with John 15:6–14 and Romans 8:15–16 to explore what it means to remain in Jesus’ love—and let belonging become the place we teach from. We’ll explore:
Receiving the Father’s love before trying to prove your worth.
Approaching feedback and mistakes from a place of secure belonging.
Responding to Jesus through loving, practical obedience.
Making room for His joy amid real school-day challenges.
Loving students and colleagues from what you receive from Him.
You’ll also have space for guided reflection and prayer to bring one moment of pressure to Jesus and consider what changes when you remember you are already loved. A simple practice for your week Return to John 15:9–11 and Romans 8:15–16. Read them slowly or listen aloud. Before entering school or a difficult conversation, pause and remember: I am loved. I belong to the Father. I can respond with Jesus. Then ask: What changes in this moment when I remember that I am already loved? We’ll explore:
