Valenti and Rico spent the majority of today's show breaking down the Lions' victory over the Packers in multiple ways. They discussed the controversial playcall from Dan Campbell to go for it from inside their own 25-yard line, the maligned officiating throughout the game, and much more! Plus, they paused for their usual "Can We Say That?" Monday segments.
The guys dove right into the Lions' close and controversial win over the Packers at the top of the show. They discussed whether Dan Campbell's decision-making is too reckless and whether it could cost the team games in the future, how bad the officiating was, and more! Then, they did part 1 of "Can We Say That?".
Mike had some thoughts about why exactly yesterday's game/outcome proves to him that the Lions are incapable of winning the Super Bowl. The guys then returned to the phone lines to hear from more fans.
The guys began the third hour with their 2nd "Can We Say That?" of the day. Then, Mike couldn't help himself from ripping the officiating during Packers-Lions.
Valenti and Rico reset their Lions at the top of the final hour. They revisited how detrimental they believe Dan Campbell's aggressiveness is and what they need to see from the Lions in order to declare them a Super Bowl team. Then, the guys were joined by Wojo and Riger in cross-talk.
