🎸🎨 WELCOME ROB GRAD TO ANOTHER UPCOMING DOUBLE DOSE OF DENIM WEEK INTERVIEWS! 🎨🎸
Some artists never really stop creating. They just find different canvases.
Here in Season 3, Episode 13, Rob Grad, former bassist/vocalist for Kik Tracee and lead vocalist/guitarist Superfine, the band that gained an international audience through its appearance on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the show's soundtrack, is one of those people.
Rob is also an accomplished artist, bringing that same creativity and imagination from music into the visual arts. 🎨
His story isn't simply about looking back at the days of Kik Tracee or the rock scene of the early ’90s. It's about what happens when a creative person continues to evolve, explore new ideas, and eventually finds his way back toward music.
From guitar strings to paintbrushes, Rob has continued to express himself through art in different forms, we're getting the chance to hear the stories behind the music, the artwork, the experiences, and the person behind it all. Gen X Joe is so looking forward to streaming Rob's story this coming week. 🤘🎨

For Season 3, Episode 17 of the Youth Gone Mild Podcast, host Gen X Joe has Adam Bernard as his guest. Bernard is a music journalist with 25 years of experience and a reputation for championing indie artists. In 2020 he wrote 'ChemBro: Embracing Beastmode to Beat Cancer', a memoir about being diagnosed with testicular cancer that had spread to a lung while he was training for his fifth-degree black belt in Kempo, which is remarkable. However, he and Gen X Joe discuss his latest book, 'One Hit Wondering: The Stories of 40 One Hit Wonders + Other Tales From The Crates', which was released July 21, 2026.
