Show Notes
Grace Brown is a 2025 Winston Churchill Fellow whose work focuses on reimagining accessibility for deaf and neurodivergent learners. She brings a rare blend of creative agency experience, kaupapa‑driven communication, and lived expertise as a multilingual, neurodivergent Māori communicator.
Grace has worked across some of Aotearoa’s most recognisable campaigns, weaving together English, te reo Māori, and New Zealand Sign Language to make information clearer, kinder, and more culturally grounded. Her Fellowship will take her to the UK to explore how AR, digital media, and global accessibility design can transform the way we teach and learn NZSL back home.
More from Coppuccino
What do you get when one of Australia’s first female commercial airline pilots and an Olympic water polo goalie–slash–memory coach jump into a car with me in Darwin during the ACWAP seminar ?
The Coppuccino podcast with Isabel Neal — a 400m superstar who somehow manages to be both blisteringly fast and genuinely one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet. Izzy brings warmth, humility, and that quiet determination that makes you proud to call her a Kiwi.
This week on Coppuccino, we’re pouring a conversation that hits heart, science, and humanity all at once. My guest is Nicola Knoble— researcher, safety leader, legal mind, and one of Aotearoa’s strongest voices for neurodiversity done right in the workplace.
