I find myself in a season of overwhelm right now and I know I’m not alone. So, I wanted to share what I do in moments like these when I’m feeling overwhelmed in order to find my way back to the practices that I find supportive for my wellbeing. Then, I’ll give you an inside peek into my morning routine in hopes that it will inspire you if you need a bit of support to make some new habits.
Sometimes we all need a little bit of support to integrate the practices that fill your cup into your daily life. That’s why I created The Mindful Reset, which begins May 11th. In this two-week accountability group, we’ll work together to quiet the noise so that we can listen more deeply to our needs and better build our daily lives around our true priorities. Learn everything about The Mindful Reset here.

Between our eldest getting ready for college, and our three other children becoming more and more busy as they get older, it feels like we’re in a period of crescendo as a family… a crescendo that might not quiet down for a couple of years.
I posted a reel last week about how I parent teens as a sober mom, and it led to a lot of important questions popping up in my DMs: Do my kids drink? What are my rules around drinking? Do I talk to my kids about alcohol?
There are so many things in midlife that feel ungrounding. Our bodies are changing in wildly uncomfortable ways. Our children are getting older (and maybe leaving the nest). We’re facing the reality of aging parents. And then there’s something that I hear so many women speak about: a persistent midlife itch that there is something more for us. A next chapter. A new calling. Yet, what exactly that ‘new thing’ is rarely feels clear. So today, we’re going to talk about it:
Jaemi Pierson is one of the most inspiring people I follow on Instagram, so I had to bring her wisdom straight to you on WithIn!
