Basoalto describes how Equinix has grown its retail colocation share in Santiago to roughly 38% since acquiring Entel's data center assets in 2022, investing in carrier neutrality, interconnection, and new capacity, including Santiago's first liquid cooling-capable facility for AI workloads. The conversation covers Chile's recent reform to environmental permitting thresholds, which could cut approval timelines from over a year to roughly six months, as well as the structural advantages driving Santiago's growth: a significant renewable energy surplus, strong connectivity, and political stability across administrations.

Tammy and May of STT GDC Vietnam on what changed inside a Ho Chi Minh City data center in one year: racks from 15kW to 30kW, 100kW liquid-cooled requests, and deals that now run on import law. Why Vietnam isn't short of power, why it needs a one-stop investment agency, and when its first hyperscale project could break ground. Hosted by datacenterHawk's Arvinth S.
Ankit Saraiya, Director & CEO of Techno Digital Infra Pvt. Ltd., on why power - not silicon - is India's real AI-infrastructure advantage: sourcing electricity near six cents, running Chennai on 98% renewables, a 102-city edge network on railway fiber, and why he says India has "no global match." Hosted by datacenterHawk's Dedi Iskandar.
Mike Netzer and David Liggitt on the first half of 2026: 13.2GW leased in the US against 15.6GW for all of 2025, 1GW asks becoming 4GW asks, Europe's first multi-100MW quarter, 2GW leased across APAC, and why signed deals don't always get built. A global midyear market update from datacenterHawk.
Ronald Setiawan, Director of Operations at IndoData Data Centres, on the move to full Salim ownership: why local speed beats a two-year build, why he built south of Jakarta for cheaper power, why he's an operator who won't sell, and the ~2,000MW waiting in Bintan & Batam.
Luke McKinnon, SVP & MD Asia at NextDC, on the strategy behind KL1 - Peninsular Malaysia's first Tier IV data center: why building for every segment beats single-tenant, why retail yields 3–4x hyperscale, the neo cloud “20MW in three months” problem, and a 150MW KL2.
