Greg Alba shares his spoiler-free Clayface movie review and out-of-the-theater reaction to the new DC Studios body-horror movie! Directed by James Watkins and written by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, the film stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, a rising actor whose desperate attempt to reclaim his identity transforms him into the iconic Batman villain. Greg discusses the grotesque transformations, practical makeup effects, pulpy B-movie energy, striking Gotham imagery, and performances from Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie—while keeping the movie’s biggest surprises under wraps. Does this tragic monster story successfully bring a completely different kind of DC movie to the big screen? Let’s get into Greg’s immediate reaction! Follow Greg Alba:
