So we're not out of it. We're not in it either. Spurs 1-1 Leeds at home, another night that started with hope and ended with that same nervy feeling that's followed this team around all season. Mathys Tel gave us a goal worth the ticket price. A proper curler from the edge of the box, his fourth of the season, the kind of finish you actually remember. Then a few minutes later he flings a leg at a clearance, catches Ampadu in the face, and Calvert-Lewin levels from the spot. Two contrasting moments that pretty much sum up his year in N17. But the moment everyone will be talking about is James Maddison stepping back on a Premier League pitch for the first time in 368 days. Standing ovation. Twenty minutes including stoppage time. Sharp from the off, nearly won us a late penalty, looked like the player we've been missing all year. Whatever you think of where Spurs are right now, that moment lifted the roof. The bad news? One win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since December. Two points clear of West Ham with two games to play. Chelsea away on Tuesday. Everton at home on the final day. We're still above the line, but only just, and if West Ham win at Newcastle on Sunday we could be back in the bottom three before we even kick a ball at Stamford Bridge. De Zerbi wasn't happy with the officials. Kinsky was brilliant again. The fight goes on. Pull up a chair, get the kettle on. Full reaction, every angle, and the survival picture as it stands. Jake R, Jake S and Gary are back for a post match reaction show after Spurs finally got off the mark in the league. Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Coventry City to North London on Monday in pursuit of a first Premier League win this season, and collected a 3-1 victory over their newly-promoted visitors. James Maddison gave Spurs their first lead of the season with a brilliant first time finish from the edge of the box. Against his old club too, which made it even sweeter for him. The win moves Spurs out of the bottom three after James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Ben Davies scored against Frank Lampard's Cov.
What a game that was. We are back this morning to pick through the bones of a proper rollercoaster at Old Trafford. Tottenham Hotspur were the dominant side for 60 minutes, but Bryan Mbeumo turned it all upside and put Manchester United ahead, only for Dominic Solanke to equalise in stoppage time, following Rodrigo Bentancur's red card.
