Premiere: I.M.D & Christian Hülshoff - Suspiro (Herrhausen & Treindl Remix) [down.]
KataHaifischShow Notes
Our next EP, Suspiro, by I.M.D and Christian Hülshoff is another special highlight for us for a number of reasons. For one, the idea for the project came about during a trip to Prague with friends. Musically, it also reconnects with the melodic downtempo sounds we’ve always loved and would like to keep alive.
The EP furthermore includes three wonderful remixes by our longtime companions Herrhausen & Treindl, Laaar, and Jonas Fasching, each of whom has added their own unique touch and magic to the original track.
We couldn’t imagine a better way for this project to come together and would like to thank everyone involved for their contribution. Enjoy listening, dreaming, and getting lost in the music.

More from KataHaifisch
Michael Scheppert for you. Just at the right time of year, as the days get shorter and the nights colder, the Day & Night EP brings the warmth right back.
🎵 Bassline Back includes a remix by our beloved resident producer from Poland, Kapoor. In his reinterpretation, he picks up the original lead and captures its mood at the same time. He creates a long break with plenty of technoid elements that remind us of long, dark nights, broken only by the flickering lights of the dance floor. The drop hits hard after the tension of the break and flows into a more melodic main part, adding a harmonic, dreamy texture to the straightforward groove. Thank you for the remix and the exciting world you’ve created for us.
🎵 g4bri delivers a bouncy banger full of lively synths, subtle percussion and a vocal that ties everything together. Gnarly saws and a dark lead drive through a powerful arrangement packed with little ear candies and details, made for big speakers. The centerpiece of the track is a groovy, dark bassline that perfectly captures the idea behind “Bassline Back”. After the main break, the bass comes back with full attitude, pushing the track effortlessly forward and pulling the listener into a hypnotic state of joy and pure desire to dance.
