In July 2005, 18-year-old Anthony Walker was attacked in a Liverpool park in a crime that shocked the UK and became one of Britain’s most devastating modern hate crime cases. Anthony was intelligent, ambitious, and preparing for university when a night out with friends turned into something unthinkably violent. As the investigation unfolded, detectives uncovered a brutal attack driven by racism — and a case that would spark national outrage, soul-searching, and calls for change.
