We're back with our final episode before the holidays, this time joined by award-winning costume designer Kendra Terpenning. We spent a sunny spring afternoon together earlier this year, drinking lemonade, catching up, and chatting away about all kinds of things that are setting us ablaze lately, and Kendra shares some insightful ways she's dealt with anger over the years while working as a costume designer.
In this episode, we sat down with Amy Nostbakken and Norah Sadava, the founders of the Toronto-based performance company Quote Unquote Collective. We talk about our relationship to feminism and how it evolves, their upcoming production Universal Child Care and the dynamics at play when working with others in a creative setting.
In this episode, we get into the nitty-gritty of Anger and Friendship with psychology professor Kelci Harris, Ph.D. We chat about the difference between anger in our friendships versus how it shows up in family or romantic relationships, we exchange some personal stories about conflict in our own friendships, and Kelci shares about her research in personality and intergroup friendships. A truly enjoyable conversation among three friends spread across the continent. This episode is dedicated to Amanda Taylor. 1988-2022.
