Why your chronic pain isn't physical. Discover the real truth and how to heal chronic pain by addressing the root cause. In this video, we explore how to heal chronic pain and somatic symptoms by releasing trapped childhood trauma. For years, I struggled with TMJ and trigeminal neuralgia, only to realize the root cause was not structural but was actually repressed emotions from my childhood. In this video, I share how to stop burying your feelings and start the process of emotional hygiene to finally let your body heal.We often think of our subconscious as a storage unit for things we would rather forget, but those trapped emotions manifest as physical symptoms. I use the analogy of a cup filled with marbles to explain how our past experiences and trauma weigh us down. To find relief, we have to learn how to hold an emotion before we can let it go. This is not a one-time fix but a daily practice, much like going to the gym or brushing your teeth.I also dive into practical tools like expressive writing and the 90-second rule for processing physical sensations. By sitting with discomfort instead of resisting it, you can begin to empty your cup and retrain your nervous system to feel safe. Remember, there is no growth in comfort, and it is time to start getting curious about what your body is trying to tell you.Try the curable app for 6 weeks free here: https://www.curablehealth.com/deal/letsgetyourshifttogether🛠 For more resources and ways to work with me follow this link: https://linktr.ee/letsgetyourshifttogether

I Had the "Suicide Disease": How I Healed Trigeminal Neuralgia and Narcissistic AbuseImagine waking up every single morning for four years with a locked jaw and a headache so severe it felt like your life was over. I spent thousands of dollars on specialists, mouth guards, and physical therapy, only to realize that the source of my pain was not actually structural. In this video, I share my personal journey from the depths of trigeminal neuralgia and chronic TMJ to being 100 percent pain free. It all started with a wisdom tooth extraction that spiralled into a nightmare of dry sockets, shingles, and excruciating facial pain. For a long time, I believed my body was failing me, but the truth was much more complex and rooted in my childhood.I eventually discovered the mind body connection and the groundbreaking work of Dr. John Sarno. I learned that my brain was using physical pain as a distraction to protect me from repressed emotions stemming from a lifetime of narcissistic abuse. By doing the inner work and finally processing the anger, guilt, and shame I had carried for decades, I was able to heal my body completely in just four months. If you are struggling with chronic symptoms that won't go away despite every medical intervention, this video might offer the missing piece of your puzzle. We explore how narcissistic parents shame children for their emotions, creating an internal pressure cooker that eventually manifests as physical illness. You are not broken, and healing is possible when you address the root cause.Try the Curable app for 6 weeks free: https://www.curablehealth.com/deal/letsgetyourshifttogether🛠 For more resources and ways to work with me follow this link: https://linktr.ee/letsgetyourshifttogether

This week I’m joined by my friend and fellow coach Scotty Stiles, founder of How to Heal Chronic Pain. After spending 15+ years dealing with debilitating chronic pain, Scotty recovered using a mindbody approach and now helps others do the same. We’re talking chronic pain, nervous system sensitization, learned neural pathways, emotional suppression, and what actually helped him heal.
