Episode 1: Mostly My Twitter Handle
Let's Start a Podcast - A "How to" Guide for Starting the Quickest, Easiest, Cheapest Podcast PossibleShow Notes
This is the very. first. episode. ever. of Let's Start a Podcast. It sounds really awful. This show didn't have a name when I recorded it.
I just got in my car started driving to work and thought, "I should start a podcast about how it's not that hard to start a podcast, dang it."
Turns out audio quality is not my forte, right out of the gate - but it will get better as we go along!
And, if you're reading this - something seems to be working.
Love you, Laurel
p.s. It's spelled with a K - @lokate

What’s better quality, quantity, perfection, doneness? I’m NOT SURE, you tell me (@lokate). This episode is mostly deep thoughts, from deep in the back of my broadcast closet.
I let my friends and family know that I started a podcast, and this is how it went. This is basic stuff, but sometimes basic stuff is good (hello frappuccinos). Intro music: Moon Party by To Eris, via freemusicarchive.org
Whelp, now that this experiment is on iTunes, what’s the plan for future episodes? Same thing I plan every time, Pinky, try to take over the world! Also in this episode: listener feedback for the first time ever. Intro music: Poolside by Little Glass Men, via freemusicarchive.org
I’m so excited that Apple approved the podcast to show up in iTunes, I’m only sort of sad that my mic rubbed on my shirt and made an annoying swishy sound the whole time. MUSIC ATTRIBUTION: Bacterial Love by Rolemusic, from freemusicarchive.org
Longest episode yet, but so worth it. If you get to the end of this one, and follow my tips, you too have a real live podcast on the internet for all to hear!
