Show Notes
Today, we're doing something a little different! Ian and Lauren recently recorded an interview with the Baker Street Regulars podcast—they are weekly deep dive into adaptations of Sherlock Holmes stories through a queer lens. They cover everything from the Jeremy Brett Granada series (a personal favorite), the Frogwares game series, BBC Sherlock, plays like Chris Walsh’s Miss Holmes, and even Veggie Tales. We’re so excited to share with you our interview with Ian and Evan about Fawx & Stallion where we discuss adaptation for audio, writing mysteries, and a bit about season 2. If you like this episode, go check out their amazing back catalog--and Lauren's upcoming guest episode covering BBC Sherlock... Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Something a bit different for your feed today, detectives! In honor of our season 3 Kickstarter, we're bringing you a very special episode of our Patreon-only unscripted series, CinEnigmas - on the main feed for free! Once a month, Ian, Lauren, and some occasional special guests and friends of the show, are examining what makes a good MYSTERY MOVIE (or tv show)! From the highest highs to the lowest lows, we are examining mystery storytelling, mystery solving, and the elements of making a detective for cinema. In this episode, we're talking Sherlock Holmes (2009), the first of the Guy Ritchie Holmes series!
Our season 3 Kickstarter is live! Fawx & Stallion is a comedy-mystery podcast about the best detective team in London! Not that one. The other one. Across the street, and slightly to the left, at 224B Baker Street. We've successfully solved two mysteries, and we'll need your help to get a crack at a third! Scripts are written, pre-production has begun, and all we need is the funding to make this show's engine start in earnest!
Hello Detectives! Today we are delighted to introduce you to The Lion and the Adder, who are wrapping up their crowdfund soon and need our help to produce this season of top-tier historical detective-based audio fiction! (Check out their crowdfund HERE RIGHT HERE.)
Today, Gabriel Urbina drops by 224B to chat about his brand new show, The Harbingers, which co-stars our very own Lauren Grace Thompson! The first three episodes are available RIGHT NOW wherever you listen to podcasts, and we are delighted to share the first episode with you today!
Well, hello there Detectives! TA;DL (Too Annoying, Didn’t Listen) Fawx & Stallion is joining the myriad other podcasts on your feed and starting a Patreon!
