The Inner Edge with Shane Cradock

Doubt shows up in everyone’s mind, even in highly successful people in all kinds of fields. The difference is that some people treat doubt as truth, while others act despite it. In this episode, I explore why trying to eliminate doubt rarely works, and what actually frees you from its grip. A simple shift in how you relate to your thinking can dramatically reduce stress and restore momentum. Show Notes:

What if the harder you're pushing, the more you're getting in your own way? Many ambitious people live by an unwritten, unconscious rule: I'll relax when everything is done.

We’re racing towards artificial super-intelligence - but what if we’re overlooking an intelligence that’s already here? In this episode, I explore an idea that profoundly influenced me through my time working with leadership pioneer Joseph Jaworski: what he called Source. Have you ever simply known something, without being able to explain exactly how you knew? Is it intuition, experience, subconscious pattern recognition or could something deeper be going on? We’ll explore Source, synchronicity, and why thinking harder doesn’t always produce greater clarity. Because some answers arrive when you think harder. Others become visible when you stop thinking so hard. Perhaps the real frontier of intelligence is becoming more receptive to what’s already available. Show Notes:

What if the goal you're chasing isn't actually the point of the goal? We spend so much of our lives focused on reaching the summit that we can miss what the climb itself is producing. In this episode, I explore how ambitious goals don't just create external results - they can reveal and develop something in us along the way. For leaders, there's an even bigger question: what kind of person or team are we becoming while we pursue the result? Because you can reach the summit and damage the climbing team on the way - or miss one summit while becoming capable of climbing a much bigger one. The summit gives you a destination. But the climb reveals who you are and who you can be. Show Notes:

Everyone wants to be heard. But how good are we at actually hearing other people? We spend enormous amounts of time learning how to present, persuade and get our point across - yet one skill may matter even more. In this episode, I explore why genuinely understanding another person is much harder than we think, even when we believe we're listening. The biggest obstacle isn't usually the person in front of us. It's the conversation already happening inside our own head. For leaders in particular, learning to notice that inner conversation can transform relationships, decisions and the ability to bring people with you. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do in a conversation is to stop listening to yourself. Show Notes:

What happens when you decide to go after something that seems impossible? The problem is, your mind usually keeps thinking from the same frame that created what's possible today. In this episode, I share two experiences that taught me why ambitious goals sometimes require us to completely rethink what's possible. We’ll explore how commitment, real commitment, can change the questions you ask and reveal possibilities you simply couldn't see before. Because sometimes you don't need to work harder or think harder. What you need, is to break the frame. The right question isn't always, “Is this possible?” Sometimes it's, “What would have to change to make this possible?” Show Notes:
