Episode 143 - Julio The Carpenter

Love Is The Author

Show Notes

Julio The Carpenter is a beloved handyman and craftsman of the Turtle Conservancy, The Hotel El Roblar and Twin Peaks Ranch in Ojai. Originally from the state of Jalisco, Mexico, Julio journeyed to America in search of greater opportunities, and eventually had a chance meeting with Eric Goode and Jeremy McBride, the filmmaking team behind Goode Films (creators of The Tiger King and Chimp Crazy documentaries). This has led to an invaluable working relationship and friendship between them. Julio's backstory is one of the peaceful warrior, a beautifully recounted tale of having conviction without faith, and how you can make the most out of heartbreaking choices.
