In the fourth episode of Method I caught up with Jules Craft, better known as MC Crafty. Jules is a man of many talents. He's a Creative Producer, Drum and Bass MC, a radio host, a set builder and basically an all round legend. Proudly from Gisborne, he has made a career in multiple avenues across the events and music space in Aotearoa. Jules played a significant role in Rhythm and Vines and Jim Beam Homegrown through his work alongside his two friends within their collective, Department of Arts. Jules is super passionate about building community and creating memorable moments through music, which is something I'm a big fan of. Enjoy the kōrero!

I caught up with Tāmaki local, Ariel Wose to talk all things music and all things her.
I sat down with Marlon, Taylor & Jupes to chat about their band, Model. Model is based in Tāmaki Makaurau, a group of three packing an absolutely punch on the scene. They bring such a fresh, fun and vibrant energy to the stage. We talked about their EP "A Child Swimming", how the band was formed and the intentionality they carry through into the marketing of Model. I love how cohesive they are as a group and their approach to creating music together. If you haven't seen Model live yet, I strongly encourage you to do so, I guarantee you'll have the best time. They are touring this October through T & M, check out their instagram for more details.
I caught up with Luke and Dom from Flamingo Pier to talk about their upcoming tour for the latest LP, Woven Together.
In the eighth episode of Method, I chat with Sarvi. Sarvi is a solo artist located in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her first release was in 2023, when she was creating music with The Winch. Sarvi now releases music under the management of Good Twin, located in London. We talked through Sarvi's start into creating music with The Winch and the evolvement of her creative process across the years, alongside her recent release Snake Charmer and her time at the APRA SongHubs. Sarvi is reflective in this interview of the challenges she faces personally as an artist and I really respected her vulnerability and openness throughout our conversation. She has such a beautiful soul with an immense amount of talent and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
I caught up Tāmaki local singer-songwriter Paige last week to discuss her new single Hypocrite. This release marks a turning point for Paige as she moves into becoming an independent artist after 8 years with Sony. Paige has multiple Aotearoa Music Award nominations, among many other accolades. It was so fun to chat to Paige about the creation of Hypocrite and her feelings around progressing her career as a fully independent artist. You can stream Paige's music on Spotify, Apple Music & YouTube now.
