The New York-based organization now has nine chapters across the US. ArtTable is the foremost professional organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women in the visual arts. Through their membership network and community initiatives, they expand professional opportunities for women from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of their careers, supporting and fostering a stronger future for all women in the arts.
Iverson, the artist and co-founder of Alice Riot, created the original Mina collage and painting at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a representation of the monotonous, cyclical nature of quarantine – and of course, Kate’s love for her chihuahua – the piece is both sentimental and melancholy with a dash of humor and whimsy.
Kate and Alice Riot have granted original rights for the Mina artwork to ArtTable for this NFT drop. ArtTable receives 100% of the initial sale price of $50 per NFT and will additionally earn a permanent 50% royalty on all NFT secondary market/resales.
Utility: This is the first-ever NFT drop for ArtTable, the world’s foremost professional organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women in the visual arts. Each time the Mina NFT is sold or resold it raises sustaining funds for ArtTable’s nonprofit programs, initiatives and more that benefit its members worldwide.
Licensing details: Original rights for the Mina artwork rest with ArtTable. The buyer/owner of a Mina NFT has rights to print and reproduce the NFT for personal use - e.g., framed print, poster, card, etc. Licensing or sale of the NFT for commercial use without strict authorization from ArtTable is prohibited. If ArtTable agrees to any commercial licensing use or sale of e NFT, the nonprofit will continue to receive a 50% royalty on any use into perpetuity.
