This week on This Cowboy Life, Jerome and Tiffany are coming off back-to-back big events — starting with an embarrassing entrance into RCR's Veterans Coffee event (you'll have to hear how) and a hilarious throwback to the time a local news anchor took a hard fall live on-air riding one of their steers. Then it's on to Ridgedale, Missouri, where a family vacation to Bass Pro Shops turned into an unexpected history lesson, followed by a full recap of a wild weekend of team bull riding — a nail-biter finish decided by a fingertip, a sleeveless rebellion the coach wasn't thrilled about, a lightning delay that killed all their momentum, and a controversial non-call that's still being argued about.
More from This Cowboy Life
Jerome and Tiffany Davis somehow made it 28 years without remembering their own anniversary. Tiffany’s mom had to remind them, Jerome forgot her present, and somehow the Carolina Cowboys winning that night saved him from having to buy one. They also tell the story of their engagement, which involved a rainy day, a muddy Jerome and a trip to Service Merchandise where Tiffany let him pick between two rings by asking which one was cheaper.
On Episode 15 of This Cowboy Life, Jerome and Tiffany Davis look back at a tough weekend in Glendale, where Carolina was one bull ride away from beating the number one team in the league. Jerome walks through the re-ride decision he can’t stop thinking about, and Tiffany does the math on what would have happened if he’d kept the score on the board. Glendale also brings back Arizona memories, and Jerome tells the story of the desert trailer, the shock needle and the hotel in Destin, Florida that turned out to have a past. Along the way: a first dust storm, a new bull name, a women’s panel, Lisa Lockhart’s record 20 straight NFRs, and Jess Lockwood’s jeans. In Mail from the Dirt, Jerome answers whether bull riders are required to wear helmets, and when a young bull gets a rider on its back. Then it’s your YouTube comments, a roster cutoff day that could shake up the teams, and what to watch for when Carolina heads to New York.
Jerome and Tiffany are back with another episode full of rodeo stories, questionable decisions and plenty of laughs. Jerome explains exactly what a “maiden spot” is after Tiffany accidentally sent the internet into a frenzy, plus they get into the rules behind cowboy hats, Jerome’s gold Resistol patch and a few stories from his early rodeo days.
This week, Jerome finally tells the full story behind one of the best running jokes in his life — how his best friend JW Hart convinced a friend that Tiffany was a stripper, and let the rumor ride for years. It started with a restaurant sign, and a bad nickname that stuck. It ended with Tiffany getting cornered by her best friend's fiancée in the stands at a bull riding event, having no idea what she'd been up to. Beyond that, Jerome comes clean about "cheating" on Tiffany with a guest appearance on the Dale Jr. Download, which led to its own great stories — a carrot cake, a misattributed elevator wrestling match with Dale Jr. and Ross Coleman, and a kid named Camden who got tied to a tree at cowboy camp years ago. Plus, a recap of the He Paid Your Fees rodeo, a preview of this weekend's team event in Fort Worth, and an update on the tightest National Finals Rodeo qualifying race in years.
This week, Jerome and Tiffany Davis break down one of the most electric finishes in Carolina Cowboys history. With the game on the line at Cowboy Days, Adriano Salgado climbed on a re-ride bull and delivered exactly when it mattered most — but the celebration got put on hold when Arizona threw a challenge flag, challenging whether Adriano had touched the bull mid-ride. What followed was an agonizingly long review, with judges checking the footage from every angle before finally landing on the one word that decided it all: inconclusive. The place erupted all over again. Beyond the finish, it was a wild week all around — a red-eye flight home from Anaheim, a nasty wreck that had people at home covering their eyes, and almost no sleep for Jerome thanks to a 3am bull fight that had Tiffany out in her pajamas trying to keep the peace. Plus, a Mail from the Dirt segment with a twist — video messages from Cody Lambert, Justin McBride, and Michael Gaffney. Oh yeah, and maybe a Jerome-Justin McBride singalong.
