Kelly is joined by guest cohost Ryan Mogge to talk Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High #56: LOST AT SEA! Jessica and Winston Egbert are lost at sea! They wash up on a non-desert island and build a house complete with sofa, encounter a bear, and DO NOT reach anything other than platonic respect! Meanwhile, Elizabeth's storyline is... being worried about Jessica. Support BROTHER MANOR, Kelly's gothic romance miniseries, on Kickstarter! INFO AND DONATE!

More from Teen Creeps
This week Kelly and Katai read HORROR HIGH: TOXIC BEAUTY by Caroline B. Cooney, a repackaged version of THE RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE from her VAMPIRE'S PROMISE trilogy that changed some of the names and NOTHING ELSE. They talk Bethenny/Devnee being a drip, not understanding anything of the vampire's physicality, confusing shadow lore, uneven story structure, a few really good passages, and more! Support BROTHER MANOR, Kelly's gothic romance miniseries, on Kickstarter! INFO AND DONATE!
This week Kelly and Katai read FATAL ATTRACTION by Imogen Howe from Dell's 1980s Twilight series, the story of an evil witch who won't stop bringing down positive teens with her sob stories. They talk toxic positivity, vague plant-based religious philosophy, the book's anti-empathy narrative, David being the worst, Cindy being a queen, and more! Support BROTHER MANOR, Kelly's gothic romance miniseries, on Kickstarter! INFO AND DONATE!
Kelly and guest co-host Patrick Ehlers talk Hardy Boys Casefiles No. 48: ROCK 'N' REVENGE! The Hardy Boys sort of stop the murder of Buddy Death, famous death metal musician! Too many military knives, yakuza tattoos, being splintered to death, deserved electrocutions, and video game talk!
Kelly and guest co-host Brendan Milove talk Dance of Death by Lou Kassem! An extremely boring (but cursed?) main character must unravel the truth of two handsome identical twin boy ghosts, aided by her star quarterback, mystery-obsessed boyfriend and her horsefreak best friend who disappears halfway through the book! Support BROTHER MANOR, Kelly's gothic romance miniseries, on Kickstarter! INFO AND DONATE!
This week Kelly and Katai read FEAR STREET #24: THE THRILL CLUB by R.L. Stine (or apparently Tom Perrotta??), the dumb story of a girl whose brain is getting hijacked by her boyfriend in order to force her to kill her short story club friends. They talk barely-there character motivations, cool ideas with no follow-through, dumb plotting, Seth inventing racist occult lore, egregious cliffhangers, and more!
