Show Notes
This week we're talking about the fighting tournament that decides the fate of the planet...again. It's Mortal Kombat 2 and we're talking about a more female focused kombat, practical sets vs CG, the Poochy of it all, and if it's inspiring to be 57. Watch our host Andrew Ivimey in his full length comedy special LET'S GO! available to stream right now on the Comedy Bar Max Youtube channel.
More from Talk From Superheroes
This week we're talking about the new Street Fighter (that's set in 1993). We talk about fun, practical action, not expecting the anime influence to be literal, hit and miss casting, and unnecessary little creeps.
This week we're talking about the full season of Lanterns. We discuss how this show reached so many dads, the difference between character and plot, a bland mystery, stellar performances galore, and speaking uhp.
This week we're talking about when a Lantern was a mid-sized sedan, which of course means that we're talking about Old (The Beach That Makes You Old). We talk about if Shyamalan twists really matter, how normal humans are supposed to talk, and what is Mid-sized Sedan even a play on?
The Resident Evil franchise has seen a lot of different games and movies of wildly different styles over the years. This week we're talking about the 2026 film which in some ways combines them all. We get into self aware body horror, comedy doofuses, video game vibes, and the evil company that always fails up.
We're talking about another video game movie this week. The second in the series that leaves you more confused than the first, it's Silent Hill Revelation. We try to figure out the plan of the secret order, give respect to the costumes, puzzle over accents, and wonder how the hell they afforded this cast.
