The Business of Storytelling: Finding Wonder and Purpose in Your Work
Bippity Boppity Business: A podcast for Disney Enthusiasts and Business Professionals.Show Notes
Saul Blinkoff is an Inspirational Speaker, Hollywood Filmmaker and animator. (Disney, Dreamworks, Netflix) - We believe that whenever we can infuse wonder into our work as leaders, amazing things can happen. We immediately connect to any work or individual that makes us feel this way. We feel compelled to learn more. But as we age, we grow up, we get jobs, we do what we are told, or what is expected of us, we forget wonder. The magic of being able to ask,"what if?"or look at things from a new creative perspective. To innovate, lead, and achieve great things, can often seem irrelevant or impossible in the daily grind of our work. We often resort to what's comfortable or practical. We push these kind of lofty ideas away for another day. After all this kind of innovation is a gamble right? But just because it’s a risk… doesn’t necessarily mean it will fail. A balance between realistically meeting our business goals AND creating and leading through the lens of wonder IS possible. Our next guest is the embodiment of just this kind of thinking.

In this episode of Bippity Boppity Business, Rita Richa sits down with Tim Carroll, CEO of Lyric Workplace and author of Workplace: Reclaiming In-Person Work in a Remote-Obsessed World, to unpack why the best parts of work still happen when we're together — and why that has almost nothing to do with mandating five days in a cubicle.
In this episode of Bippity Boppity Business, Rita Richa sits down with Becky Pierson, community strategist and founder of Affinity Collective, for a conversation that flips everything you think you know about building an audience. Becky's background in product, UX, and tech means she doesn't build communities on vibes; she builds them on research, positioning, and a clear-eyed answer to one question: is this actually about you, or about them?
What if getting featured everywhere has less to do with your budget — and everything to do with your story? In this episode of Bippity Boppity Business, Rita Richa sits down with Nicole Pearl — PR coach, publicity strategist, and a magazine editor and journalist with more than 20 years in the media world (yes, she actually lived the Devil Wears Prada life). After building her own personal brand as The Beauty Girl and landing herself on everything from national TV to the Today Show — from a single social post — Nicole now helps small business founders get press without spending a fortune.
What if the reason your message isn't landing has nothing to do with what you're saying, and everything to do with how you're showing up?
What if your brand has been trying to tell you something, and you just haven't been listening to your space? In this episode of Bippity Boppity Business, Rita Richa sits down with Lana Wear, founder and CEO of Homewear Designs, real estate flipper, home stager, MBA, and self-confessed Lowe's danger zone, for a conversation that will completely rewire how you think about your brand.
